Maggie Lewis represents the 7th District of Indianapolis, which includes portions of Wayne and Pike Township on the city’s West and Northwest sides. 

Maggie serves on the Administration and Finance, Community Affairs, and Municipal Corporations Committees.

Maggie is passionate about serving her community.  She chaired the Lafayette Square Area Coalition’s first multi-cultural parade, she serves as a member of the Eagledale-Lafayette Square Area Weed and Seed Steering Committee, and she helped found the Pike Township Combat Committee, which provides a free weekend retreat to women service members returning from duty overseas.

Maggie attends Greater Mount Paran Church, where she serves as president of the usher board, and she is active with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Maggie received both her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and her Master’s in Public Affairs from Indiana State University.
