Barack Obama Endorses Andre Carson
April 29, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS - Congressman André Carson has unveiled a new radio advertisement featuring Sen. Barack Obama. In the ad, Obama talks about how Carson is working for change and asks Hoosiers to support
Carson on May 6.

"Here in Indianapolis you have a chance to send someone to Congress who is committed to the type of change we need. That's why I'm supporting Andre Carson for Congress," Sen. Obama says in the new ad.

"I'm honored to have the support of Barack Obama in my campaign," said Congressman Carson. "I look forward to working with him to help Hoosiers who are facing skyrocketing gas prices, health care costs, and economic uncertainty. Together, we can truly change Washington."


 
 

Ballard: 100 Days of Broken Promises
April 9, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS -- Mayor Greg Ballard spent his first 100 days in office breaking some of his most important campaign promises, Joanne Sanders, the Democratic leader of the City-County Council, said today.

“The first 100 days for a Mayor should be a time to make a fresh start and set a strong agenda for the next four years,” Councillor Sanders said.  “Unfortunately, the first 100 days of Mayor Greg Ballard have been disappointing, to say the least.”
