Marion County Democrats

Dear Friends:

I have been honored to serve as the Chairman of the Marion County Democratic Party for 8 of the last 10 years.  We have done great work rebuilding our party, and in 2010, we retook the prosecutor’s office and won every other county-wide office on the ballot.  In 2011, we secured a Democratic Majority on the Indianapolis City-County Council and gained control of the Mayor's Offices in Lawrence and Beech Grove.  We now control 14 of the 15 county-wide offices (not including judges) and 118 Democrats hold office in Marion County.

In 2012, we will continue to capitalize on what has been a long string of victories for the Marion County Democratic Party.  Together, we will re-elect President Barack Obama and Congressman André Carson.  We will also work to see Democrats win in the race for Governor, U.S. Senator, State Senate and House, and a number of offices here in Marion County.
